We run courses and workshops designed to help you make the best of yourself and boost your confidence. Being well presented is essential in any situation and the team at The Styling Academy can make a difference and help you stand out from the crowd.
We have strong links to the fashion industry and our mentors have a vast amount of professional experience. From learning how to correctly apply make up, styling your hair and dressing in a stylish way to picking up the tricks and tips on general grooming such as waxing, eyebrow shaping and tanning, you will learn a huge amount on our course.
The Styling Academy is so exciting, we work closely with brands and charities such as M&S, John Lewis and Debenhams, Christie’s and St Ann’s Hospice to help organise fashion shows where our students can show case their new found confidence and glamour. The Grooming Course
Our exciting, informative and unique eight week course which covers everything from learning make-up skills, exercise techniques, photo shoot posing to catwalking, acting and fashion styling starts soon. For all the details on this popular course click on Course information.
Makeup, Hair and Modelling Workshops for 6-18 year old girls
Starting at 10.30am till 2.30pm the workshop involves a make up and hair demonstration after which, students practice on themselves under the supervision of the professionals. A model will then be doing a photo shoot posing lesson followed by a photo shoot of each student. We then do catwalking lessons. It is a fun filled day which at the same time builds confidence and self esteem. Find Out more.
Birthday Party Workshops
The Styling Academy also runs a party service with a difference. If you are looking for a new theme for your daughter’s birthday, the Grooming Academy team can come along and provide a 2 or 3 hour workshop covering make up, photo posing and cat walking. We even bring a catwalk! All girls love make-up, even at a young age, so we have created this package just for them. We give a make up and hair demonstration then let the girls go wild applying our make up and doing their hair (under our supervision). After that our photographer will do photo shoot of each girl plus a group shot (prints can be orders at cost), we then finish off by cat walking to funky music which the girls love! Find Out more.
Fun and Fabulous Photoshoots
Our Fun and Fabulous photoshoot session gives you a real taste of modelling whether it’s just for fun or to fill your portfolio with amazing and beautiful images. We have a brilliant team that will create stunning, edgy and dynamic images and make your day one to remember. On arrival to the studio’s we will chat about your look with our make up and hair artist’s and plan what you will be wearing*, once you’ve had your make up professionally applied and your hair styled you will either go out on location or stay in the studio with our fantastic fashion photographer who will make you feel relaxed and give direction throughout your shoot. Hen Party Workshops
Don’t get the hen party panics.........Step into hen heaven. The grooming Academy delivers an impressive hen party package. Arrive at Manchester235 welcomed by a glass of bubbly before a top professional reveals industry secrets in a hair and make-up session. We will show you how to strut your stuff on the catwalk and work your poses in photo shoots, all tied in with a delicious buffet lunch and a glass of wine. Fashion Show Production
Our team has years’ worth of experience when it comes to fashions shows from the initial conception through to on-site event co-ordination and management we can help with any size fashion show. We offer a full service including supplying models, choreography, catwalk/staging, lighting, technicians, sound engineers and PA systems at a very competitive rate.
